Does your business social media connect on a creative level?

With the explosion of social media usage around the world, social media websites have become an important platform for businesses to engage with customers, prospects and keen industry followers. We use social media platforms to engage and reinforce brand messaging, influence customer opinions, provide targeted offers, competitions, and any positive message that keeps your brand in the mind of the consumer.

Given the time and resources companies have placed into social media and the messaging content it is just as important to make sure these platforms display your brand and image in the way its intended. Before your followers even read your messaging they are exposed to the page itself.

Does the creative on your social media website pages even reflect what your brand is all about?

Does your social media follower even understand what your selling or communicating at a glance?

Most social media websites have banner areas that you can custom design and upload to the page, this gives you the opportunity to individualise the overall design and also is an opportunity to keep your brand consistent with your other marketing collateral such as your website design and print design material. Spending that extra time in doing this will keep your customers engaged and familiar with your brand.

Our Melbourne Graphic Design Studio has increased work in this area dramatically over the past 12 months with a bulk of our clients all looking to improve the design of their social media websites, the main platforms we have worked on are Facebook, Twitter and Linked In (examples below), all of which provide banner areas that we can include custom creative designs that connect with your keen follower.

I would encourage all businesses that use social media websites to spend the time in engaging with a graphic design studio to assist with the creative of each of your social pages, unfortunately it is an opportunity that is often missed and overlooked.
