To keep up to date with the growing trend for a more visual website we have updated the design and layout for our own website design, we have used simple tile graphics to illustrate our services on the home page so in a snap shot you can visualise what services we offer, for example graphic design, web design, logo design and so on. We now have a scrolling banner feature so that we can easily update our messaging and service offerings.
We have included a blog feature so we can communicate all trends in the industry, all things happening at Metz Creative and some general fun stuff to keep things entertaining.
There is also an area for you to view our most recent projects. This way you can see the work we have only just completed and get an insight into the how, when and why. We also have a folio selection for you to view in every service category, the folio images are larger than we had previously to give the user an easy free flowing viewing experience to see examples of the work we have developed.
Our new website was developed using responsive web design (RWD) method, this approach is aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience, easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling across a wide range of devices (from mobile phones, i-pads to desktop computer monitors)
We also tweaked our logo design to keep it simple and fresh, we were not too precious with the colours also, our primary logo is now yellow and black, but we now have a different colour pallet for each service category, to give each area branding and purpose.
Overall we focused on creating a website design that was easy to navigate, and find what service you want to learn more about. The other prime objective was to showcase our work in the best possible way, we feel we have ticked all the boxes, we hope you also enjoy having a quick browse!
